Electric Castle is an event that takes place annually on the grounds of Banffy Castle near Cluj-Napoca. Since 2013, the festival has been making summers more beautiful for Romanians and tourists from all over Europe. However, the exception to this rule are the years 2020 and 2021, when the pandemic context did not allow events of this type to take place.Electric Castle Cluj-Napoca is the first festival in Romania to bring on stage big names in electronic music. It has also brought numerous nominations and awards to the south-eastern European country, which have made Romania one of the top holiday favorites of young foreigners.The 2022 edition of Electric Castle will take place from July 13 to 17 and the festival is trying to keep the confirmed artists for 2021. Tickets purchased last year are also valid for the 2022 edition.
